This message archive is being made available by the Calvary Apostolic Church with the hope that we will reach the whole world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
You may wonder “Why go to church?” In this message, Reverend Greg Godwin highlights the comparison of the current day church members to Old Testament priests made by Peter in 1 Peter 2:9. Just as the priests in days of old saved the ashes of the red heifer as a purification for sin, the people of God stand ready to minister to people in need. The church is a place of healing, help, and hope. Come ready to be changed.
It is not uncommon for one to fall into a great spiritual drought when the enemy is trying to paint a picture of defeat. In his sermon, Rev Jim Fielder speaks of these Times of Drought and points to Isaiah 28:12 as our rest and refreshing. We must remember that this renewing is not a one time event but that we our saved by the washing and regeneration of the Holy Ghost. In these times of great spiritual drought, one must make it a daily habit to drink from the spiritual rock that is Christ Jesus. Fill my cup lord, I lift it up lord! Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
