Rev Greg Godwin
You may wonder “Why go to church?” In this message, Reverend Greg Godwin highlights the comparison of the current day church members to Old Testament priests made by Peter in 1 Peter 2:9. Just as the priests in days of old saved the ashes of the red heifer as a purification for sin, the people of God stand ready to minister to people in need. The church is a place of healing, help, and hope. Come ready to be changed.
In this message, Rev Greg Godwin instructs the church to follow God and the leading of the Holy Ghost. To be in line with our father we must have unity in the church body. To be an effective church body we as individuals we must be in submission to our father. The body is only as effective as each of its members. Align yourself under leadership and anchor yourself to other members of the church body.
Rev Greg Godwin challenges the congregation in this message. To rebuild you have to get over what has happened in the past. You cannot let your failures or disappointments affect your faith and expectancy for the present and future. Preaching can affect your past, change your present, and influence your future. The vision of God will overcome the memory of what has been. God gives His will and it’s up to us to live it out.
