A certain man left Jerusalem and was headed to Jericho when he was overtaken by thieves. Laying wounded and stripped he was passed by a priest and a Levite who should have had compassion on him, but left him in the same condition with which they found him. The Good Samaritan has compassion on him, bound his wounds and put him on his beast and took him to a place of healing. The hurting need a Good Samaritan. The hurting need a church willing to stop and pick them up on their way to a place of healing.

Rev Greg Godwin challenges the congregation in this message. To rebuild you have to get over what has happened in the past. You cannot let your failures or disappointments affect your faith and expectancy for the present and future. Preaching can affect your past, change your present, and influence your future. The vision of God will overcome the memory of what has been. God gives His will and it’s up to us to live it out.
