Christian Education is an important facet of the total worship experience at Calvary Apostolic Church. We encourage the acquisition of Biblical knowledge and values in an environment that fosters fellowship and caring. If you have any questions about classes or programs, please ask. Nursery – Nursery A

The nursery is led by April Sayachak.  It is available every service for children 6 months to 24 months.  Children are never too young to hear about Jesus. From a child’s earliest days we show them God’s love and the importance of being in the church family.

Toddler Time – Nursery B

Toddler Time is led by Lisa Carson.  Class times are Sunday mornings at 10 AM and Sunday evenings after worship.  This class is for 2 & 3 year old children.  Bible lessons are brought to life with visuals and enthusiastic teaching. We also sing songs of praise and worship to Jesus and make crafts that reinforce the Bible stories being taught.

Primary – Jr. Kid’s Quest

The Primary class is led by Tracy Duke with Chris & Rick Seymour.  Thsi class is Sunday evening after worship and is for children 4 years old through 1st grade. Each Sunday we feed these hungry minds a well-balanced diet from the Word of God. Creative teaching methods are used for teaching the children as they play, give, and do. Every segment of the lesson reassures the children that God loves and cares for them.

Juniors – Children’s Center B

The juniors are taught by Peggy Johnson on Sunday evenings after worship.  Children in 2nd through 5th grades are in the Junior class. We teach the Word of God and instill truth in their hearts. Our prayer for each student is that as they grow they will continue to walk with God.

Junior High – Children’s Center A

The Junior High class is under the direction of Venny Azzolini.  The class meets on Sunday evening after worship.  Students in the Junior High class are in 6th through 8th grades.  We extend the ministry of the Youth Department by teaching students the truth of the Word and instilling a love for Jesus Christ and the Church. We take students through the Word and apply it to the daily lives of young teens.

Senior High – Youth Mezzanine

Senior High is also under the direction of the Youth Pastor Venny Azzolini.  The class meets on Sunday evening after worship and is for students in 9th through 12th grades.  The youth class is directly for the upper teenage years. We seek to involve young people in class discussion and other types of participation. Our class challenges the students to grow and mature to become “like Christ” through study of doctrine, current issues, and relationships.

Bible Quizzing – Bible Quiz Room & Nursery C

Under the direction of Scott  & Tammy Glover, Bible Quizzers practice on Sunday evenings after worship from November through July.  This practice is for quizzers ages 5 to 11.  Bible quizzing is a dynamic children’s ministry that equips children with the Word of God. Children memorize scripture and then quiz in a game-show format. Bring your children for life-changing fun!  See the Bible Quizzing page under “Ministries” for more information.

College and Career Class – Fellowship Hall A

Led by Pastor James Stark, the College and Career Class meets on Sunday evenings after worship.  This class is for singles who are high school graduates through age 35. This class studies the relevance of God’s Word and how to apply its principles to real world issues. The fundamental belief is that the answers to 21st Century complexities are found in the practicality of Scripture.

Marrieds’ Class – Chapel

Christine Stark spends Sunday evenings after worship teaching engaged and married people. This class uses Biblical principles to strengthen and enrich marriages and give parenting help with the purpose of building stronger families.

The Living Word – Worship Center

The Living Word class, taught by Darrell Propst, meets on Sunday evenings after worship.  This class is for Adults. In this class we learn to apply principles found in the Bible to daily life. Through the class, we recognize the Bible as the Word of the Living God and that our lives are complete when lived by His Word.

Potter’s Wheel – Compass Room

Especially for women, Nita Underhill teaches on Sunday evenings after worship. This women’s ministry class is open to all women who are single, widowed, divorced, or attend church without a spouse. The class is an opportunity to grow together and find purpose in Christ.
