What is Bible Quizzing?
Bible Quizzing is a dynamic ministry for kids ages 3-18. It is a great way for kids to learn the Word of God, as they participate in a fun activity. Bible Quizzing is a team effort, that involves the participants working together as a team, and individually at the same time. The Bible Quizzing ministry at Calvary is comprised of three age groups: Beginner Quizzing (3-8 yrs old), Junior Quizzing (9-11 yrs old), and Sr Quizzing (12-18 yrs old).
When is Bible Quizzing?
Bible Quizzing practice takes place on Thursday evenings (JR and Beginner) 6-7:30, and Sr Quizzing 7:30-8:30. We also have a class during Christian Education for ages 5-11, that is a Bible Quizzing class.

Why consider Bible Quizzing?
No other ministry has the impact on children that Bible Quizzing has been proven to have. As young people hide the Word of God in their hearts, they provide themselves with sin insurance. (Ps. 119:11). Bible Quizzing has also been proven to transform kids who were shy, backward, and reserved, into leaders amongst their peers, as they gain confidence in their abilities, and in expressing themselves as quizzers. Also, Bible Quizzers have consistently achieved better grades in school, than non-quizzers, as they learn self-discipline, study habits, and memorization techniques. Spiritually speaking Bible Quizzing has helped many young people to fluorish, as they learn the eternal Word of God, and establish a personal relationship with God, through the study of His word.

Recent Accomplishments of Calvary Bible Quizzing
Calvary has been blessed over the years to have one of the nation’s best Bible Quizzing ministries. Our teams are consistently at the top of the state, and we have also won three consecutive National Bible Quizzing Championships (1 Junior 2007, and back to back Senior Championships 2008, 2009). These results are a direct result of God’s blessing, and the dedication, and hard work that the quizzers have put into this worthwhile ministry.

Scott and Tammy Glover are the Bible Quizzing coordinators/coaches at Calvary. They have been involved in Bible Quizzing, beginning in 1989, and they have been coaching since 2003. It is their desire to see as many young people involved in Bible Quizzing as possible each year. It is their prayer that God would continue to use Bible Quizzing, to impact children and their families. They also have a vision to see Bible Quizzing continue to grow at the local church, in Ohio, in the United States, and Internationally.
